MIXED GIRL BEAUTIFUL: A Dream Deferred, but Never Defeated 💫    

 I had envisioned launching MIXED GIRL BEAUTIFUL to celebrate the historic election of our first woman, mixed, half-Black president—Madam Vice President Kamala Harris! 🇺🇸✨ 

I poured my heart and soul into this project, dedicating countless hours and energy to bring my vision to life. 

But when the reality of the election results hit me, I was devastated. 💔 

 Then on  November 6th, I found myself in tears America had delivered her message. Again!!  LOAD & CLEAR 

In that moment, I made the difficult decision to put MIXED GIRL BEAUTIFUL aside—again. 

But then… one Zoom call. 🎥 Listening to the phenomenal women from #WWBW speak changed everything. Their words, their stories, their energy—it all reignited my spark and reminded me why I started this journey in the first place: to empower, inspire, celebrate diversity, address colorism, and fight racism. 💪🏽 

They had—and still have—no idea how much their voices meant to me, but that Zoom call brought MIXED GIRL BEAUTIFUL back to life—this time with even greater purpose and passion. 🔥✨ 

And let me tell you—every single woman on that Zoom call was inspiring. I must admit,

 I was fanning, and I tried to snap a photo of Ms. Jasmine Crockett —yes, I did, yes, I did! 📸 

But let’s just say it didn’t turn out quite as planned! 😂 

Then came Ms. Donna Brazile, and when she spoke... whew! That Louisiana fire caught my CREOLE ASS and soul on fire! 🔥

 Coming from a family with deep New Orleans roots, her words hit different. That Creole passion, that strength, that undeniable resilience. Sometimes, all it takes is a little nudge, a kind word, or a reminder of why we started. 

And today, I'm standing tall, pushing forward, and ready to bring MIXED GIRL BEAUTIFUL to the world—because diversity isn’t just a trend, it’s our truth. 🌎💜
